The most important part of the therapeutic process is ensuring that people feel accepted, seen, heard, felt, understood and listened to.

I am a relationship-based, trauma focused therapist who loves story-telling, collaboration, and exploration into the unknown with my clients.  I am devoted to developing curiosity, understanding, and empathy within  my relationships and believe strongly in the power of the therapeutic process!  Everyone deserves opportunities for security, acceptance and relief in their lives.

When you prioritize the therapeutic process, there is no greater investment in your future, your relationships, and your well-being!

I was raised in Prescott, Arizona and moved to Portland, Oregon in 2002 to work with individuals in the criminal justice system struggling with alcohol and drug addiction.  After realizing that the best part of my job was teaching an art-therapy class to men in an in-patient treatment program, I left the drug and alcohol counseling world to work with children and families.  I moved to Missoula, Montana in 2007 and have worked with children in and out of the foster care system, families struggling with trauma, and adults who want to overcome, integrate, and heal from their past.

My current focus is with adults looking to better understand their own journey, process, and meaning in the world. Trauma can be anything that takes us out of our ability to joyfully connect to ourselves, others, and the world and can make the path towards fulfilment, sustainability, and wellness seem just out of reach.

I feel strongly about using a body-focused, emotional and needs based approach towards healing from trauma.  I am a spirited, confident, and kind person and believe in the power of relationships to build resiliency and recovery.  I enjoy the process of being with others and respect my clients' pace and right to personal dignity during therapy.
